I couldn&#8217;t find a good calculator to help me plan for my retirement spending and how much I needed to save. I had a vague 4% rule and some idea of how much I spent. But, it was never super accurate and just left me concerned I didn&#8217;t have a good grasp of where I was.<\/p>\n\n<p>So, since I couldn&#8217;t find anything, I built my own tool. I have since cleaned up my own calculator and added in current market averages for spending.
