And the world just kept moving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in the last few days, two of my favorite stocks reported Q1 earnings.  And did they do well.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am writing about Alphabet and Apple. I have held these stocks many times and Google, especially, is my most favorite stock at the current time. I had shied away from it as valuations were getting high, but I suspected that, coming out of the pandemic, that they may have a good quarter. As it turns out they both did.  Although they were treated differently by the market after reporting (I would say Apple was a little bit more harshly treated).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyway, a few things come to mind that I will explore in subsequent posts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Finding a lifetime stock and sticking with it<\/li><li>Realizing your ability to analyze everything<\/li><li>Understanding the macro environment to help you make decisions<\/li><li>Using micro trends to help you sell at optimal times<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I will write more on each of these later.
