 Retirement Calculator |
This is my current special baby. I couldn’t find a good calculator to help me plan for my retirement spending and how much I needed to save. I had a vague 4% rule and some idea of how much I spent. But, it was never super accurate and just left me concerned I didn’t have a good grasp of where I was.
So, since I couldn’t find anything, I built my own tool. I have since cleaned up my own calculator and added in current market averages for spending. It still needs work and is only optimized for Ontario tax rates, but I will enhance it over time (or teach you how to) if you let me know you are interested.
I will let you use the Calculator under Open Source licenses – you can modify/change/re-use the XL but you must keep attribution to me and the site.
